Acer has just launched their new netbook with Intel atom N570 dual core processor ,one of the most powerful atom processor from Intel,overall netbook is well-built and currently the best configuration that a budget netbook can deliver ,
Performance wise acer aod 257 outperforms better than its competitors due to its dual core processor (most of the netbooks are not dual core),but still HD video playback is a nightmare for this small buddy , but we recommend you to buy a netbook with amd neo processor (AMD VISION) if you’re looking for netbooks with HD video playback capability and gaming .
A great battery backup with a 6 cell battery about 8 hours of browsing with Wi-Fi turned on in windows 7 starter.Web cam is not that bad ,perfect for Skype calling and video chatting. and there is mic near to the web cam for voice chatting .
We hardly recommend this netbook for people who are looking for a secondary pc or a cheap laptop for web browsing ,movie watching (not HD) and 8 hours of battery back up really a deal breaker .

This the worse piece of electronic equipment I have bought. The keys stick and is very slow.
