Facebook to reach 1 Billion registered users soon this year

The social networking giant Facebook.com  to reach 1 Billion registered users milestone this year .In September 2011 Facebook announced about they reached  800 million users mark.Now about one-seventh of human population is with Facebook.

According to Gregory Lyons, a senior analyst at  iCrossing.com, Facebook will reach the 1 Billion milestone in August 2012 Facebook expects a good number of users from  India and Brazil .Currently  only 3% of India’s population and 16% of Brazil’s  population are on Facebook when compared to the compared to the 49% of America’s population or 47% of the UK’s population.

When compared to any other social networking platforms Facebook is still eight times larger,Twitter now reached about 100 million  users, LinkedIn has 130 million members and Google+  has reached 25  million users on august 2011.  According  to researchers  Google+ will have 400 million users by the end of this year.
