But the bad thing we found that you must logged in a browser first and must enable “available to chat” in order to get the notifications and alerts and also cant manage the chat visibility in desktop client we need to change it manually in Facebook profile every time and no matter browser is opened or closed but must logged in first.

This is just a beta version of the client and the actual software may have more improved features and Facebook is trying to make it more user friendly and adding other great features to it .
