Here am sharing Solution for fixing front audio panel in asus motherboards ,Here am using asus m2n68-am se2 mother board,may very with other mother boards
By default asus motherboards comes with front audio panel is set to “HD AUDIO” ,Which is not supported by normal cpu cabinets.
The solution is , To change the “front panel select” to “ac97” in bios setup
just follow these steps to change it.
restart your computer ,and on booting, press “delete” key to enter bios setup
In bios setup go to “advanced” tab then select “chipset”
from “chipset settings” select “southbridge configuration “
set “front panel select” to “AC97” PRESS ENTER
now press “f-10” key ,select ok,press enter
now your front panel audio got fixed!

Thanks Buddy It works in Windows XP. But its not Working For Windows 7 for Asus P5kpl-am in series Board.
